Railway Mania by Bonnie Camplin investigates the industrial development of Middlesbrough’s railways, shipbuilding and steelworks. The artist has been working closely with mima since 2007, to create new works specific to Middlesbrough that continue her interest in the history of feminism and women’s rights.

Bonnie Camplin will talk to writer and performer Fanny Paul Clinton at mima in October.
